Why Was I Denied The First Time Home Buyer's Tax Credit

The settlement date for my last main residence WAS March 15, 2007 (the date I sold the-home, According To The HUD-1 statement) And The settlement date for The Home I Just Purchased WAS March 16, 2010. This puts me one day Beyond the Three Year window Needed to Qualify re-as-a first time buyer. I checked The IRS Web Site Before Purchasing and Seemed to Meet the Other Criteria. Am I Overlooking Something?
