Who Pays For The Home Insurance When You Let Your House

I ask this question on Behalf of my friend, Who lives in Malaysia. He wants to know What the law in England Will Be in this box.

My Friend Is Gonna let history to Another house, so That He Can Have Some revenu. A Question Arises: They Need to buy a home insurance in case There Is year accident like fire. Apparently in Malaysia, a Homeowner Does not Have to buy insurance for house history.

So in this case, Who should pay for insurance The Home, The Homeowner Or The taking? I mean, The Rental Period is 2 Years, And The Insurance, Paid yew, Will cover for 2 years only.
