Deedee Cannonier says...
First of all, you are mixing terms.
Townhouse is a type of design. In the US, it typically refers to a two story, apartment looking thing like you'd find in an urban setting.Wikipedia says:"Townhomes" usually consist of non-uniform units in suburban areas that are designed to mimic detached or semi-detached homes.
Condominium is an ownership method. The building itself is owned by a condominium corporation. The corporation is jointly owned by all the residents, and charges themselves fees for general maintenance and major repairs. In condominiums, the resident "owns" only the airspace of the interior (cannot moidify without approval of the Condo Corp).
