This kit is just water, a couple of "cakes" of food rations,5 tiny candles,a tiny first aid kit, and a cheap crank radio.For $100.00?I bought 2 and just found out that I can not return them! Find one with water, food bars, tent, a life size first aid kit, and some more survival type tools, hygiene things, etc.Keep looking-not this one.NO RETURNS????!!!!!How rotten is that.I am very angry now.

I was very impressed by this Kit. The backpack is comfortable and strong, the contents fresh and well organized, with a little space left for family photos, etc. I was also impressed by the speed with which one of these kits was delivered, and the excellent condition in which they arrived. Double bagging the water was a very nice touch as well.



Everything is in here that you need, and the best at that. Candles that last, "space" blankets for 4, with food and water. The backpack is amazingly small and light for all of its contents, the heaviest of which is the water anyway. This is perfect for anyone who lives at the behest of Mother Nature... which is all of us... and especially those in higher risk areas.



I bought a prepaid disposable cell phone and put it in. If my house burned down today, I would have the means to contact family and friends, and all the immediate necessities. I wouldn't have to scramble in a closet for them, and above all that brings me peace of mind; especially when I give this as a gift to friends and family.

With the recent push here in California for "Disaster Preparedness" month I picked up one of these kits, not really thinking much about it.But after I looked through it, I realized that I can actually sleep better at night knowing that I've got enough supplies to last me and my loved ones a couple days when our next big earthquake/fire/hurricane hits (or if the black hole in the financial markets opens up any further).



I would strongly recommend buying one of these.Hopefully you will never need it, but it will still be the best money you've ever spent.Think about it.

This emergency kit is a joke.



First of all, I paid $130 for it just a few days ago and received my order today. Now I see they just lowered the price to $109.25. Seriously? This kit should be $50, if that. Someone literally threw in packets of water into ziploc bags (about $8 worth), a few packets of food rations, some candles, some plastic "blankets", and the smallest and cheapest first aid kit I've seen. The crank radio flashlight is a nice feature, but you can buy one for less than $20.



I think the supplier literally went to an Army/Navy surplus store and threw these items into a small, basic backpack. So you know what? You should do the same rather than waste your money.
