So I decided to try Luvs because They're cheaper than the regular huggies I buy. What a terrible Idea. I will never buy from this brand again. With huggies my daughter can sleep through the night with it on.. With LUVS.. She wakes up to a small puddle and the diaper coming apart from not being able to hold enough urine. The stickies feel funny and are ripped off easily. I cannot stress enough how this diaper CANNOT hold in the overnight urine. You know.. when you wake up and the baby has a full diaper.. well this diaper cannot do that you end up with a diaper falling apart with the tiny balls coming out of the inside.I'm sticking to my Huggies.

I only purchased these because the store was out of stock in the size i needed for the brand i always buy. I should have gone to another store. I was so disappointed with the quality of them, they leaked easily, and several of them tore at the velcro when I was trying to fasten them to my son... the gel substance that holds the pee feels awful so i was changing my son more often than ever to avoid feeling the gel like diaper and to avoid leaks. I had to change my sheets and his clothes in the middle of the night several times. I will never purchase luvs again.

These diapers are great, they are of the same quality as Pampers, only about $6-7 cheaper for the same amount.They have the stretchy sides that are exactly the same type as Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers.They have a babypowder scent to them, which is a little stronger than the Swaddlers, but not to where it bothers anyone.So far I've tried Target, Wal-Mart brands, Huggies, Pampers and Luvs.From my experience they ALL leak, no matter what they say.Especially when my breastfed baby has an explosive poop while not laying on his back -- this makes the liquid come out from the back of the diaper.But these don't leak as much as Huggies and generic brands.They are also not as rough as Huggies.Like I said, I would compare these to Pampers, I really think they stole their design ;)

The new luvs (white) leak up the front and the diaper filling comes out and all over baby, clothes, floor...

I change little man often because he is so active, climbing, trying to run, general "toddling" and this still happens more often than not.That diaper filling is awful to try to clean out off the floors.I do not recommend this product.

These diapers WERE great. We had our new born last May, and have used LUVS since birth after trying Pampers and Huggies. On our little one, Huggies leaked all over the place every time, Pampers were OK but not better at a more expensive price. We've been ordering LUVS from Amazon from size 1. Somewhere in the middle of size 3 boxes (a couple of months back), the LUVS diapers that we've received suddenly changed in quality. The cross-hatch is gone (it's all white now), the diapers are thinner, and the elastic on the sides are awful now, they lose their elasticity very easily, and of course that means leaky diapers. We thought that might have been a one-time thing, but the next size 4 box that we ordered are the same 'new' no-good quality. Up above in the images, I see that someone else had the same experience. You can see from the pictures there that the diapers are different now.



What happened to the great LUVS diapers???

This is the new packaging with larger quantity.The pricing is a slightly cheaper than the prior 174 package.The diapers are pretty much the same.This item and the diapers are a great value for the price.



It works well with my baby.I use this during the day and Pampers Cruisers at night for the extra thickness.

I have purchased Luvs Diapers since my son was born.He is 9 months old now.



I purchased the pack of 204 Diapers from Amazon a few weeks ago.When I pull the tabs from the back to stick to the front of the diaper the entire tab tears right off. I can tell by looking at the diapers that there is a portion that is supposed to be "stitched" together with heat.About half of the "stitches" are not connected and this is an issue throughout the whole box.



When I went to contact Luvs about the product quality issue there is absolutely no way to contact them for this.Their phone number is only automated and there are no options to report defective products or talk to someone.



I did a search on the Internet and this qualtiy issue appears to be fairly common (along with the problem that Luvs has no contact information).I am now switching to another product as Luvs does not care enough about their customers to staff a support desk or even an email address.

I normally buy huggies but I thought I would give these a try. The tabs break off all the time making the diaper loose and causing it to leak. They also run smaller than huggies my son is 27 pounds and the size 5 luvs are a lot tighter and smaller then the Huggies size 5.

I have tried pretty much every diaper under the sun, to include; Pamper's baby dry, swaddlers & cruisers, Huggies snug n dry & supreme, Target brand, and white cloud. I have found that Luvs are my favorite. I really liked the cruisers, but for some reason they gave my son a rash. Luvs were the last type of diaper I tried and I'm so sorry it took me so long to give them a shot! They're similar to Pamper's cruisers onl without the mesh lining and high price tag! This is why I LUV 'em:

1. They're thin, yet very absorbant.

2. They're really soft and have a powdery fresh scent.

3. The elastic keeps messes in, but doesn't irritate baby's legs.

4. The "bear hug stretch" is super stretchy-similar to Cruiser's.

5. Most of all, I love that they cost about 20 cents a diaper compared to the 25 cents that Pamper's cruiser's cost per diaper.

I have used Luvs for 2 years with my sons.We used to "luv" them.Now about half of the tabs are breaking off while my kids are wearing them, causing wet clothes and a big mess!Plus, occasionally they are splitting open, spilling the absorbent gel crystals everywhere.The tab problem has happened with two separate sizes, so it's very disappointing!Both of my kids had wet beds this morning because of the tabs breaking!
