Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for an area with alot of bars/nightclubs then the answer is no. If you are looking for something to do in a family type environment then I would suggest it. My family and I vacation there every year.
We use the Plantation for our lodging. We love it. It's private but has a ton of amenities for the guests.
Oh don't go around the first part of September. It's 'love bug' mating season and they just about destroy the paint on your vehicle.

My family IS Trying to plan for this summer vacation o, we are Trying to decide if Gulf Shores Alabama Is A good destination. Any Information About the Area Would Be helpful.
