Grand Wailea Water Slide

After going to the Grand Wailea, we had to then go to the Ritz.. Oh dear Lord, it was bad. The hotel design was out dated, musty and MUCH to dark for Hawaii. But worse than any of that, it rained 24/ 7. Constant cold, wind and rain. We had to drive back to the other side of the island every day just to enjoy ourselves.

Luckily, they're planning rennovations.

this is a great place! i have been at the grand wailea four times. Did u guys go on the water elevator?

I did! But I kept having frightening thoughts of getting ttrapped underneath as it rose. *shivers*

Going to the grand wailea is my dream vacation. I'd love all of the pools, waterslides, and the lazy river thing.

That waterslide is pretty darn amazing. This and the Ritz Carlton I would say are the nicest hotels on maui hands down.
