I live in Clearwater, FL.  I was paying as low as $350.00 a year, back in the 80's...now it's almost $2,000.00!

You are insured based on replacement cost. This has nothing to do with property values in your area.

I would all ban together and fight this all the way to the Supreme Court.This is when we the people,for the people,and by the people cry out when injustice like this takes place.Insurance companies right?,right along with the banks that got us all in this mess in the first place!

Its a scam on the American Public,like so many other scams that are perpetrated by the wealthy of this country.Fight back my God fight back!!!!

If you force place ins. thru your mortgage co they will insure you with L of L, at $7,000 for wind only & commission and tell you they don't shop ins. or look in your file & insure it reasonably. The government bailed out the insurance co (AIG)for ripping us off. The banks are in cohoots with the insurance co, the losses they are claiming are paper losses created this big scam and we the taxpayers are bailing them out to screw us again with tarp funds. Wake up America!
