Destin is beautiful , I couldn't believe it when I arrived there . I highly recommend it . Half of the people in my 40,000 town ( illinois ) visits there yearly. Plan advance , it books up fast .

I live out here and let me tell ya, this is one of the finest beaches in the country imo. however, its at its most beutiful when the summer is near its end. around mid august time. its when the waters is clearest, calmest, the temperature is cooler, and dolphis come out so much its not even funny.
