I would urge customers not to purchase this product based upon our experience.When we received the "safety" bar we read the easy instructions and made sure that the grip was fastened appropriately with the red side showing - indicatingit was locked.However, when ny elderly grandmother attempted to use it to get out of the tub it came right off the wall.She is a tiny woman weighing only 98 lbs.Had her helper not been with her she would have fallen and certainly injured herself seriously.If you are someone who can withstand a fall then by all means purchase.Otherwise, please get something more permanent. Their length is such that we cannot attach them over our 4 1/4" tile without them being on a grout line.
