4zone York Airconditioners At Commercial Property

Posted on November 4, 2010.

These Are the central A / C units at a business I am Affiliated With. There are 4 York split system units, consisting of the air-conditioners you see in the video, and 4 air handlers located in. Throughout The building closets and connected to a System 2000 oil-fired boiler. I am unsure of whether or Not They Are heat pumps or straight-cool A / C units, I am pretty sure goal They Are "latter. I Do not Know the SEER Either gold tonnage, and I promised I Will Have A video of Them Running in the near future.

UPDATE: Model number is 4 units all H2RA060S06D IS. This Is the code.

H = Outdoor split system A / C unit
2 = Design level / product generation
RA = 10 SEER (12 and 14 SEER Were disponible)
060 = 60.000 BTUH (The Highest capacity of 5 this unit is available at the Time; The compressor Is So off the Blades barely clear it!)
S = Sweat-Connect (Do not Know What This Means)
Voltage Code 06 = 208/230-1-60

I Do not Know What the "D" stands for

Did you get the model number of your unit or the model number of your compressor, they are different.

You can tell right away what kind of compressor it is just by the shape. Scroll are round and tall, recips (looking from the top view are squarish or rectangular-ish with rounded edges and shorter height than scroll with the small horsepower.

and sorry, the heat pump criteria, you can tell from the unit model number only. See I told you, you can miss a lot of info from these postings

@zaknaphion your taking pictures of the condenser, there is also a A-coil or Evaporator coil in the air handler running either a TX valve or Orifice system. on R22 (i'm guesing) which those systems are standard pressures are between 50-55 PSIG on low side (bigger copper line)

scrolls are more popular now and replacing reciprocating compressors. But recips are still out there. The new technology for the future is scroll with inverters (variable speed). But it's best if you research more answers on search engines. Most postings here can be misunderstood. Take HVACR classes and you will learn to ask the right questions too.
